Please take a moment to review these rules before posting:

General Netiquette

1. Do not spam the forum.
2. No unsolicited advertising.
3. We are all adults, so we will act in a mature manner or be subject to editing by a moderator/administrator.
4. There will be no badmouthing any member of this forum or any member of any other forum. (Badmouthing other forums, sites, companies in general, is not allowed.)
5. Public posts questioning any moderator/administrator's ability to moderate will be edited and/or removed without notice.
6. Any member who has a problem or issue with any moderator, administrator or forum member should privately message an administrator.

Signatures

7. If you're only interested in registering so that you can get a link, you're at the wrong forum. An administrator will delete or edit signatures that don't conform, without notice.
8. The administrators may delete or edit any signature or link that they deem inappropriate for the forum, for any reason whatsoever. (Some signatures that may be removed include links to gambling sites, pornography sites and sites we deem to be promoting the spamming of search engines.)
9. If a signature has to be edited more than once for any reason, it will then be deleted without notice and the member will lose the opportunity to have a signature for an unspecified period of time.

Linking in Posts

10. This forum is not a place to announce your new site or directory, nor those of your friends.
11. You may post links only where appropriate to the subject at hand.
12. Unless asked by the administrator please refrain from posting self-promotional links of any kind. When in doubt about a link, make it non-clickable. Very often there's no need to link to your own site, when a summary of what you're linking to will suffice and add more value to the forum thread.
13. Links to sites that you think may be spamming the search engines (or using any practice that you may think is gray area) should not be posted (nor should the name of the company or site).These will be immediately deleted without notice. You may instead post the specific technique that you think might be spam, and why you think it is against search engine guidelines. You may take private requests for the URL, if you'd like.
14. Moderators may delink or remove any links at any time if they feel it is in the best interest of the forum to do so. Please do not post publicly asking where your post or link disappeared to if this happens. Always private message a moderator or administrator instead.
15. Affiliate links other than official High Rankings affiliate links may not ever be posted either in the body of a post or a signature.
16. We do not do site reviews, so please do not ask for them here, please stay on topic.

Copyright Violations

17. Please don't post the full text of an email or an article, or post from another forum. You may summarize it in your own words and/or post a link to it, if it is relevant to the discussion (and you are an active member).Anything posted in full that you did not write yourself will be deleted without notice.
18. The full text of articles may never be posted, even if you wrote it yourself.
